Sandnes, Norway – SwimEye, a prominent name in pool safety solutions, has been collaborating with Sandnes municipality for several years. Recently, representatives from SwimEye visited the Austrått Svømmehall to engage in discussions about current and future safety measures at the facility.
During the visit, SwimEye representatives met with Bill Stromberg, the head of department in Sandnes municipality, who oversees the operations of Austrått Svømmehall. This facility serves as the municipality’s primary destination for swimming and bathing activities.
Austrått Svømmehall boasts a comprehensive range of aquatic features, including a 25-meter swimming pool, a raised and lowered pool, and a specialized therapy pool. The facility plays a vital role in the community, hosting school swimming programs, health services such as occupational therapy and physiotherapy, as well as training sessions for the Sandnes swimming and lifesaving club. In addition, Austrått Svømmehall is a hub for public swimming opportunities and hosts various swimming competitions and events.
