SwimEye Announces Major Upgrade: Version 5 Set for Launch in Late 2025

SwimEye, the innovative underwater monitoring system designed to enhance safety at swimming facilities, has announced that a new and improved version is currently in development. Version 5 of the system is scheduled for release at the end of 2025 and promises a range of advanced features aimed at improving swimmer safety and lifeguard efficiency.

Among the key upgrades is the integration of surface cameras into SwimEye’s new graphical user interface, providing a more comprehensive view of pool activity. In addition, the updated system will support tablet displays, giving lifeguards greater flexibility in monitoring, and offer alerts directly to smartwatches for faster response times in critical situations.

SwimEye is also continuing to refine its artificial intelligence model, which plays a crucial role in detecting potential drowning incidents. According to the company, the latest advancements are part of their ongoing commitment to increasing safety for both swimmers and lifeguards.

“The safety of swimmers and lifeguards is at the heart of our investment in the new SwimEye version,” CEO Ole Jørgen Engelsvoll said in his statement.

Version 5 marks a significant step forward for SwimEye as it leverages cutting-edge technology to make swimming environments even safer.
